Ok, so this sailor is on a "half cat". But - she's young and will surely see the appeal of cruising on a catamaran's stable platform in the future! Either way 14-yr old Laura Dekker's story captured worldwide media attention when she announced her attempt to become the youngest sailor to solo circumnavigate. Interestingly enough, her experience will be shared on film with the world in a documentary titled "Maiden Trip", premiering on Sunday, March 10th at the Austin Fest.
