Annapolis Boat Show a Success for Outremer Catamarans

The Annapolis boat show was a success for Outremer Yachting with hundreds of people boarding the Outremer 5X and getting to know the Outremer philosophy of building quality blue water catamarans which are fast, simple, and seaworthy - a brand who's philosophy is well known in Europe with it's fair share of hard-core fans.

Just Catamarans sold the last remaining slot for a 2015 Outremer 51 to a client from Colorado ready to begin a change of pace from the work field and travel with the freedom of the wind.

Orders for 2016 Outremer 51 and Outremer 45 are now being filled also due to the success of the Cannes boat show in France a few weeks ago with 3 orders for the Outremer 45 filled and one for the Outremer 51.

Boat show season is in full swing with next show being in Barcelona, Spain to display the Outremer 51 "Zeus" from Wednesday October 15th -October 19th.

Next show in the USA will be the Miami International Boat Show at Strictly Sail in Bayside's MiaMarina in Miami, FL where Just Catamarans and Outremer Yachting will host an Outremer 51 and possibly the new Outremer 45.

Over 60 Multihulls on display now at the La Grande Motte Multihull Boat Show! In it's 5th year, the show is poised to become the MUST ATTEND event for multihull enthusiasts with over 150 exhibitors comprised of catamaran and trimaran manufacturers, designers, charter companies, sail makers, insurance, financing and everything you can think of! The show runs from Wednesday, April 23rd to Sunday April 27th this year from 10am to 7pm (6pm on Sunday). Shining at the La Grande Motte Multihull Boat Show!

Day three of the five day Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte, France... The Outremer 5X gets a shine from the compulsive Outremer team before the doors open. A Glimpse of What is to Come

What do the above photo and the new Outremer 51 have in common???
Both are future stars being born .... News today that the first 51 is now in the shipyard and has just moved from lamination Shop to assembly shell. Guests who will be attending the La Grande Motte show April 10th-14th will have the ability to view the progress of the Outremer 51 at the shipyard. Outremer 51 Design Changes

The award winning Outremer 49 will remain available if desired but why wouldn't you want the new and improved Outremer 51?! The mould of the 49 is being modified to become the Outremer 51 by extending the transoms 2ft. The extended transoms bring more performance, more comfort, more buoyancy, and more storage - as most clients have chosen the hydrogenerator Watt and Sea option, this is where they will house a dedicated locker for this popular option. In addition to the above, she looks to be sleeker with the elongated hulls!

Additional changes include modification of the portholes as well as the side windows on the roof, mirroring the flagship Outremer 5X, which just won the European Yacht of the Year for 2013. The bimini has been changed to a light but rigid version and the interior has been improved as well! Her galley now holds more storage and has been formed to a (baby) u-shape, offering more functionality. Last but not least, interior designer Franck Darnet has redesigned the saloon and squared it off to accommodate more people in more comfort and redesigned a new chart table based on his experience with the Outremer 5X.

Co-owner of Outremer Yachting Xavier Desmaret has said, "The Outremer 49 is a great boat. The Outremer 51 will be legendary!" I like that kind of enthusiasm!! Sign me up!

Next available slot for a new Outremer 51 is Summer of this year (2013). Following slots will be November and December 2013.
